Lost Script

I have been writing a script for the past year using a program called Celtx. It is a script writing program. For the second time it has lost my script. Luckily I have it all in my head and a hard copy. I had just finished typing it all back in with new material just the other day. I sat at Fidos and typed for about four hours.

Discouraged, mad, but not giving up. Maybe this third rewrite will be what it takes to get it just the way I want it.

Tired, getting up at 5 a.m. in the morning...and its 12:22 now. God, please help this artist.

Good night all.

My Hero

In art class one day we were drawing our favorite super heroes. I had a child raise his hand and ask me, "Do you have a Bible here?" I said, "No, I left it at home today, why do you ask?" "Because my favorite super hero is my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ."

I smiled and said, "He is my favorite super hero as well."

Season of Leaves

Autumn’s crisp silence
Embers aroma of dead leaves
Snow warriors bound on the horizon
Skeletal silhouettes in evening trees

Tempered union of body and soul
A shared cup of coffee as the days grow cold
Conversations lingering long into the night
Nestled together by the hearths fire light

Kaleidoscope patterns of cannon fire orange
Embracing the truth of Fall’s lumbered floor
Monochromatic nights in cerulean hue
The lingering gaze of one who’s in love with you

Circles of silver glimmer in the sun
Winters breath whispers its return
This season of leaves takes hold of woolen core
This season that leaves us with hope for more.
