Free iPhones for Church of Christ

Abilene Christian University is supplying all it's incoming freshmen with free iPhones next year. My question is, how much is tuition going up next year? Who's paying for those iPhones? It is a private Church of Christ school and that is great if they want to do that but where is the money coming from? I think its a novel idea for a university to build the technological infrastructure for the future of the students. Kudos to Abilene C.U. for embracing technology.

Pssst. Down here Mr. Provost...if you wait until after June, when the new iPhones come out, I bet you can get the older iPhones at a crazy bulk discount.

I heard that Freed-Hardeman University (a private Church of Christ school), is going to give their freshmen students a Mac Book and an iPhone too.

I'm guessing that tuition is going to go up... or Apple is really generous :)
