Catch or Shine?

I was visiting a friend in Colorado. His girlfriend came over with another guy and thats when I put together that he and his wife had split up and his daughter was with his wife. As they talked I ended up going outside while they visited.

There were some teenagers standing outside the house and the quarterback of a high school football team dressed out in full gear except for the helmet came running up to us and told one of the high schoolers the game play and then ran off. After listening to the play I ran after the football payer. I caught up with him and asked him what plan B was? He said the coach didn't have a plan B. I told him that he always needed to have a plan B and explained to him what that should be. He was amazed and said, "Your such a leader I cant wait to be a leader like you." As I was walking away I said, "You will be."

I started jogging back to the house down this dirt path and I came across two teenagers wrestling in the dirt. One was trying to get away from the other but the one one the ground who kept grabbing the other kid and pulling him back down kept yelling, "Catch or Shine, Catch or Shine, Catch or Shine?!!!" As I grabbed the kid who was trying to get away and pulled him away something bit me on my finger.

I looked down to see the back end of a bug sticking out of my finger. Its head had cut into my finger and was burrowing into my flesh. I grabbed the back end of the bug, which felt more like a bloated squishy back end of a spider, and pulled it out. Before I could release it the bug had turned again and burrowed into another finger on the opposite hand. When all was said and done I had lacerations on several fingers and the back of my hand was gushing blood.

I walked up to the house where I was staying and walked straight past the room where everyone was talking and into the kitchen where I could run some cold water on the wounds. My friends girlfriend saw me pass by the door with bloody hands and she came into the kitchen to help me. After we got the bleeding to stop I asked her about the two boys scuffling and the words, "Catch or Shine?"

She told me it was a game they were playing. The one on the bottom says "Catch or Shine" and continues to pull the boy to the ground until he either gets away or the one being caught can say "Shine" and the other kid gets to punch him in the eye, hence the "Shine" or "Shiner."

I love having dreams that I can remember in detail. And as I sit here and think about it I know exactly what that dream means and the imagery contained within. However, I have no idea if there's a game called Catch or Shine.
