On the Mend

Two weeks ago I ran the Music City Half Marathon. That next Friday I started feeling a little sickly. It started in the head and quickly moved to the chest with congestion. So, I started my regimen of Thera Flu, orange juice, whiskey, calcium pills, prayer, and kept taking my vitamins. Yesterday I woke up with a burst of energy and today I can tell I am feeing much better. I still have the congestion and a cough but I am on the mend. I hardly ever get sick. Thank you Lord for getting me better.

Cash Only

Recently my Debit card was compromised by a third party working for Kroger. Long story short the Credit Union had to order me a new one and I was back to carrying cash for a while. Dave Ramsey is right, when you pay cash for things it makes you think twice before making impulse purchases. Now for me I have to go through all my online accounts and change my debit information. I cant order movie tickets from Fandango on my phone, I cant download music from iTunes, etc until I update my info. A hassle but glad the Credit Union caught the error. If you are not a member of a Credit Union you may want to check into it. I do my banking at Cornerstone Credit Union.
